Connect cameras to the NVR

NVR AC power adapter is 48V 2A. Please make sure the power connect is right. Power adapter supports input from AC 110-240V.

Connect NVR to monitor

Please do not use laptop monitor or all-in-one PC as camera system monitor. TV or PC monitor would be a perfect choice.

APP Download and Installation

Please search for 'Honestview' on the App Store or Google Play, or install the backup app 'Eseecloud'. Note: For iOS devices, it requires iOS 9.0 or above. For Android, it requires Android 5.1 or above

Question:If box included is plugged into modem, can other ethernet wires already ran from modem plug into cameras? Or do they have to run from box included?

The camera can only be connected to the NVR to work, because the camera needs the NVR to provide power. The model cannot provide power to the camera.

Question:Can you select the zones/areas on each camera for motion detection?

Yes, you could select the zones/areas on each camera for motion detection; after setting system to record Motion, in System setup>> Channel setup>> Video detection, select corresponding channel of the camera, click Area edit, save setting after your selection.

Question:What happens if the temperature goes below -4F?

The standard working temperature of the camera is -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit; but when the camera works, it sends out heat, so it can work at a bit lower temperature.

Question:I tried adding a new camera to this sysyem and it says the resolution is too big. Any answers on how to makd this work?
Answer:My husband installed ours. I bought with 8 cameras. Wat we did was buy 100 ft of the same kind of connection (bought at Amazon, too) it came with. The manual tells what comes in box. But before you buy, try seller. They are good in replying and helping to trouble shoot, issue.

Question:Our house is already hard wired with ethernet. Can we use these existing wires to plug directly into the cameras?

Very high quality for the money 4K Camera

I have had a security system for the house for about 7 years. I have had three DVRs (Currently an OHWOAI 4K) and I have 3 brands of cameras I am using right now. I have this 4K OHWOAI, a Reolink and a Ventech. Both the Reolink and OHWOAI are of equal quality in terms of build. The Reolinks are 5MP while this OHWOAI is 4K 8MP. They are pretty close in terms of image quality and build quality. The 4K camera can obviously be digitally zoomed further out without distortion.

Pair this with an OHWOAI 4K DVR and you too will have an exceptional pairing of technology. The DVR immediately picked up the camera and connected to it without a hitch. I do wish it had Audio though; I wanted to swap it with my Reolink on the porch. That is okay though! For a 4K camera, the price cannot be beaten. I wanted White but it wasn't available at the time I purchased it. They do come in White now.

I will definitely be getting more of these and swapping my 720P Ventech cameras out for them.

You will not be disappointed. If you need audio, these won't work; get the Reolink. Same quality build but not 4K yet.

Best customer service ever!

Once you run your cables the rest is so easy. And it's super reliable. I love being able to check my cameras from my phone anywhere and I can look back at each cameras full recordings for roughly a week. It's high quality video and the night vision is great. I can see the raccoon messing with our trash at night and the cat knocking over the bird bath in my back yard. It helps a lot to know even if something happens while I'm gone for a week I have a good chance of identifying who or what done it.
I also had a unit for almost a year and lightning may have been the culprit in taking it offline but it still kept recording and customer service helped me with it in no time. Wonderful people and product. If I had to complain I would say the motion detection might not be able to differentiate between a man walking up to my door and a big old bug flying in front of the lens. But it's so easy to scrub through video on this thing and sort out what's what. Audio is awesome too! Best purchase I've made.

Best customer service ever!

I had a camera go down n contacted Ohwoai directly thru email. It was around midnight n w in 90 minutes someone had emailed me back n after a few back n forth emails of answering questions n trying a cpl things they said they’d get a new upgraded camera out too me. Bout 3 days later the new camera arrived. The lady emailing me made this such an easy n total hassle free experience. She even sent me the QR Code to set up monitoring from my iPad n iPhone. Def recommend this company for the above n beyond customer service. Over all, the system n the 3 additional cameras I purchased are top notch. But the way this issue was handled is more than enough of a reason to be a loyal repeat customer

Stylish cameras

I really like the way these cameras hook up. They come with virtually everything you need to do. However, Be aware when creating your account. I was charged 39.99 to some fcsdgmrsh.com subscription. I'm not sure why it is there but it is a monthly charge if your not careful. The company should prevent these leeches from infiltrating their sites.

Works as advertised

I am pleased with my purchase. One complaint and it's that the 8 camera system they only give you 2 security system signs. I would think that if you need 8 cameras, it would be safe to assume that you have a big property and therefore would need more than 2 signs to post on your property.
